Ishmael A. Cotton is a native New Orleanian born with music in his heart. Raised by his parents, the late Pastor Alex E. and Anita G. Cotton, he was always surrounded by music and the word of God.
Ishmael has played for several ministries and has been influenced through his experience. He currently serves at Mount Calvary International Worship Center as the Chief Minstrel under the leadership of Apostle Terry Gullage Sr. His passion for giving God excellence continues to push him to pour into musicians and Artists throughout the city of New Orleans. Ishmael’s vision is to take New Orleans Gospel gifts to the world, and through grace and by faith he knows it will be done.
